Position Details:
This position will report to the Director of Commercial

Transactions. This role will support Lumentum

on a variety of legal matters worldwide, including the following:

Review, draft and advise on a wide range of

commercial agreements including customer and supplier support.

Provide legal and strategic business advice

across all functions, including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering,

RD, Compliance, HR and IT.

Participate in corporate transactions including

any potential MA activities.

Assist Human Resources with employee matters,

policies and claims.

Support general corporate matters and special projects

as required from time to time.

Basic Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school and current member in good

standing with the CA bar.

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably a

combination of law firm and in house experience.

Solid contracts review, drafting and negotiation

skills and high attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and can interact

comfortably with executives and senior management.

Strong analytical skills and ability to balance

business needs with legal risks.

Models ethical business behavior and decision

making.

Ability to build good working relationships with

both internal business partners and external contacts.

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese a plus but

not required.
