Assistant Professor—Biophotonics Engineering—Tenure Track. The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Texas A&M University and Texas A&M Agrilife Research seek qualified applicants for this position with a research (45%), teaching (45%) and service (10%) appointment. Applicants should possess an earned Ph.D. in an appropriate engineering discipline or physics. Candidates should be able to demonstrate potential for leading a research and teaching program in sensor developments for biological applications, Expertise is desired in one or more of the following areas: spectroscopy (particularly Raman spectroscopy), sensor development, or cyber-physical systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to both lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
