Job Description

Plans/manages technical programs or projects to meet specific objectives or goals of Silicon Photonics IC R&D Team. Provides leadership for the project team & key interfaces to the project or program. Works on problems/tasks in delivery of IC R&D products or services. Manages programs of large may be global scope, impact and complexity through all phases of the IC Development lifecycle. Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. Handles cross organizational programs of broad scope and high complexity or of broad scope and moderate complexity. Lead the core team and guides performance of functional teams. Is the key interface with stakeholders and IC Team leadership Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches. Oversees identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs assigns resources, and communicates expectations to core team members. Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met. Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate

Qualifications

Plan technology and services programs of cross-functional scope, impact and complexity through all phases of custom and semi-custom IC lifecycle. Coordinates with cross functional contributors to frame the program objectives focuses and navigates effort solves problems removes roadblocks manages risks, schedules procurement vendor management Has advanced understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion. Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience critical for effective integration of cross-functional effort includes Silicon Technology, Packaging Technology, Test Technology, Design Technology, design services, Design IP, Design Kits, Post silicon debug, test engineering, Yield, product engineering, and manufacturing services.

Minimum Qualifications

MS/BS – Electrical Engineering/Comp Science or MBA with focus on Business Program Management

6+ years of experience in progressively more complex and senior roles in technical program management for IC Development Inside this Business Group
