Senior Business Development Manager – Intel – Santa Clara, CA

As a member of the SPPD marketing team you will shape the future of silicon photonics at Intel. We are looking for a talented and self-motivated individual that has business acumen and a deep understanding of photonics and IC technology as well as wafer scale manufacturing. In this role you will be responsible for driving forward our roadmap of integrating optics with networking silicon and for identifying areas to grow the business beyond our core markets. We expect you to interact with various groups and stakeholders across Intel and to work very closely with our R&D teams. You will assess existing and future technologies and competitive threats from both a technical and business perspective and quantify potential new business opportunities. Being able to work closely with our key customers to present and align on technology and product roadmaps is a must.

Qualifications

8+ years in Silicon Photonics or closely related field. Strong understanding of SiPh and CMOS technology, ecosystem, supply chain, and competition. Strong IC and ASIC know-how. Understanding of optical/ 3D packaging and MCP integration concepts. Proven success in business development or product marketing business acumen. Ability to discuss complex technology and value proposition with customer engineering teams. Excellent presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Inside this Business Group
