Internship involving the development of new production/development of automation tools for laser diode manufacturing. Duration: 4 months. Principle Duties: – Develop semi-automated and automated assembly routines with 6 axis robotic systems for laser diode development and manufacturing – Develop automated instrumentation of development and production testing equiptment – Support daily work of Production and Development Engineers at Trumpf Photonics with new automation projects Core Projects: – Optimization of existing production assembly and test equipment – Specification, design, prototyping and implementation of new production assembly and test equiptment – Assembly and testing of new laser diode lifetest racks Experience: – The ideal candidates will have strong engineering background in Automation Engineering, Robotics or similar – Also combination of Computer science, mechanical engineering, manufacturing and electrical engineering Eduction/Requirements: – Pursuing College degree in Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Enginering – Good communication skills and creativity essential – Students should have hands-on experience with extensive lab experience – Analytic skills and thoroughness required – Fluent communication in English (oral and written) Other jobs you may like |
