As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing, verifying, and testing active/passive photonic components with a focus on high-speed integrated Ge PD/APD design. The person will all also interact with our process integration tem to ensure that the design can be readily implemented into the existing process flow for fast time to market. In addition, the candidate will generate test plans related to the qualification of the active/ passive components, implement the tests and write test reports.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of optoelectronic design and process flow.
  • Experience with APD, PD design and process flow
  • Familiarity with electronic and optical test equipment: IV/CV testing, receivers/ photodetectors.
  • Experience with optical simulation tools ad layout tools, such as: Lumerical, Photo design
  • Familiarity with short reach optical transceiver for data center application is preferred.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented self -starter, who works well independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • M.S or higher preferred, 7-10 years related experience, good English verbal and written communication skills.
