Qualifications
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Define product characterization and test methodology develop techniques to characterize high-speed optical transmitters, receivers and transceiver modules above 10 Gb/s data rate-Cross-functional communications with design manufacturing, development and reliability teams in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment
Perform debug, yield analysis and report out for further improvement-Define production test requirements per the product specifications, and enable the manufacturing production test capability
Review and design implementations for product manufacturability and test DFM and DFT Perform optical, electrical, and mechanical assessments of photonic solutions with the goal of bringing the technology to a production environment-Equipment evaluation and make recommendations for capital procurement
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have at least a MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Science or related technical discipline
Minimum 3+ years with a MS or 1+ years of experience with a Ph.D
Relevant hands-on experience in the optical communication related testing and characterizations
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with optical communication components and/or systems, Ethernet and Fiber Channel applications and standards
Familiar with semiconductor lasers, electro-optic modulators, and PIN/APD receivers
