Title: Clinical Sales Representative

Classification: Regular, Exempt, Full-time

Invuity, Inc. is committed to leveraging advanced photonics technology to transform and create a new standard of care for minimal access surgery. The Company’s patented Intelligent Photonics™ devices provide superior visualization of the surgical cavity enabling precision, efficiency, and safety. Clinical applications include breast and thyroid oncology, plastics, spine, orthopedic, cardiothoracic and general surgery among others.

Position Description : This position will be responsible for achieving sales revenue by developing new accounts, growing and managing existing customers and selling Invuity products and services to hospitals, surgery centers, and doctors’ offices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistently exceed sales quota for territory

Submit timely and accurate quarterly sales forecasts

Maintain and update customer information and activity in CRM

Establish new Invuity accounts

Increase sales in current accounts by selling deep (within specialties) and broad (with new specialties)

Become technically and clinically proficient in all Invuity products and target procedures

Contact and qualify potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors’ offices

Arrange appointments with doctors and hospital medical teams

Build relationships with medical staff

Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products

Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support

Improve product knowledge and sales techniques

Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders

Research competitors and understand competitive products, features, and strengths in relation to Invuity’s products

Gather, analyze and deliver information from the field to allow the Company to develop strategies and products

Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance

Estimate time and date of deliveries

Help in the installation and set-up of equipment

Monitor and control demo inventory effectively

Complete trunk stock inventory cycle counts and reconciliation on time and follow upon any missing stock

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required

Minimum of three years of previous medical device sales experience required

Successful track record and experience in selling medical devices in the operating room and navigating the hospital VAC/approval process

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Knowledge of surgical procedures

Proven sales and negotiations experience

Success in developing new markets

Ability to build strong customer (internal and external) relationships throughout a customer organization, at all levels

Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software and CRM

Ability to travel
