Job Description The position is a key contributor in the development of the state-of-art optical transceiver module. The Engineer is expected to design new products, contribute new ideas, and find innovative methods and works closely with other disciplinary engineers to materialize new concepts and ideas. The Engineer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment on the development of next generation high-speed optical components and modules. The successful candidate should be highly motivated and demonstrate ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment to contribute to the success of Accelink in this market. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Responsible for integrated design, including schematic design, analysis and simulation of optical transceiver modules at 100Gbps, 400Gbps and beyond.
• With OSA team, define transceiver module architecture and engineering specifications based on product-level requirements
• Oversee transceiver module PCBA layout activities
• With RF design engineer, to keep a signal integrity design
• Work with IC component suppliers in the definition of IC components, such as laser driver, CDR, and TIA, component procurement, and with OSA team, to design the module to the industrial standard
• Work with test engineer, define a test plan and build test set-ups to verify the module to the industrial specifications

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of industry experience in optical transceiver module design
• Strong foundation in high-speed circuit design, simulation, and verification
• Laboratory experience with high-speed test equipments
• Multi-disciplinary background with a demonstrated record of innovation
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
