Director of Market Development, HyperSpectral Imaging
TruTag Technologies is a technology provider focused on two key areas of innovation – nano-porous silicon dioxide material that can be used for a wide variety of market applications, ranging from product authentication and drug delivery, and a designer and developer of advanced hyperspectral imaging systems and devices, resulting in three business verticals – Product Identity, Imaging and Precision Materials.
As part of its Imaging business, TruTag has developed an advanced, cost-effective Hyper-Spectral Imaging platform that has opened the possibility for new high-volume, cost-sensitive applications in markets not previously addressable including healthcare and quality assurance monitoring.
We are looking for a Director of Market Development, HyperSpectral Imaging, who will lead the development of our Imaging business. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business Development, the Director will be responsible for developing and executing on driving strategic sales partnerships for TruTag’s HyperSpectral Imaging technology in all potential market verticals.
Job Responsibilities:
Gain a detailed technical understanding of TruTag’s hyperspectral imaging technology and its applicability to a broad spectrum of market opportunities
Identify suitable market applications for our imaging technology
Prioritize new applications and target prospective new business opportunities
In conjunction with sales team, develop comprehensive customer plans and a sales strategy to identifying and calling on prospects and key decision makers within targeted accounts
Lead the collaboration efforts to promote the advantages of our technology in specific use cases including comprehension of the customer’s application, creation of compelling marketing collateral, consultation with customers and general Q&A
Understand customer voice and requirements and interface with internal development engineering and planning teams to deliver products
Project management of customers as they progress through the process of designing bespoke applications
Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to validate that client needs are understood and milestones, scope, deliverables and budgets are managed
This is a remote position – preference for individual to be based in Europe.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
B.S. or Master’s degree in Engineering or a physics related major. MBA a plus
8+ years in a market/product development or technical sales position
Experience in imaging/photonics industry is a must
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines
Project/Program management experience
