seeks a New College Graduate Software Engineer who will be responsible for writing C++ software in a Linux environment for a new photonics wafer tester. The SW Engineer will interface with external customers to understand requirements for testing their integrated circuits on wafers fabricated in
GLOBAL
FOUNDRIES
. The engineer will develop a tester which will interface to robotics, test equipment, databases and external servers. The engineer will work in a highly technical department of BS, MS and PHd EE, CS and ME engineers inventing new systems for use by
GLOBAL
FOUNDRIES
worldwide.

Essential Responsibilities
:

• Generation of a test Automation programs using Linux C++ programming
  
• Understand electrical equipment and the conversion of specifications to Software
  
• Perform all activities in a safe ad responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
:

• Education – Bachelor of Science in
  Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  
• One Year Experience as an Intern or Coop position or equivalent
  
• Some Travel will be required
  
• Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal)
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise with the Linux operating system
  
• Linux C++ Programming experience
