Montana Instruments, a growing high-tech company in Bozeman, Montana, is seeking an experienced Application Scientist to join our Technical Sales Team. This position is ideal for an industry professional with an experimental science background in Physics or Chemistry. Responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating potential market opportunities and working with our international distribution network to develop global markets. This involves helping international sales reps prospect the market, communicate technical product information, and close orders. Candidates should possess an understanding of relevant research applications, show interest in solving challenging research problems, and enjoy high levels of customer interaction. Position requires travel to universities, labs, and trade shows domestically and internationally (25% travel estimated).
